Soon time to leave!

Hi everyone!

As you may already know, I'm about to embark on a long trip to Asia. So there has been a lot to do beforehand to get ready for this trip.

I've been planning it for quite some time. I have taken a leave of absence from work and I've signed up for a university course in creative writing.

Those were the big steps I took a few months ago. Now that I've gotten closer to the trip, I have also found someone to rent out my apartment to here in Gothenburg while I'm away. I have packed away my private belongings in storage, and I have been trying to research places to travel to.

A lot is still to be decided about the trip. Exactly what places I will visit and when. But my first stop will be Tokyo, Japan. I will be there for a couple of days before I take the train over to Osaka and stay there for two weeks. That is just about everything I have planned so far.

I'm still in Sweden, though, and my flight leaves on Thursday, so right now I'm trying to find the time to say goodbye to everyone and also buy the books I need for my creative writing course. Which was harder than I thought. The books are not easy to find, especially when you don't have time to wait for delivery because you've waited too long to buy them.

Another hassle is that I don't want physical books but digital ones. Unfortunately, that's not possible with many of the books I need. Which will be annoying when I will be traveling a lot and don't want to bring heavy books with me.

But it is what it is. I think that's it for now. I will write more later.

Oh yeah and I also decided to create a blog!
